Flea, tick & worm prevention

Flea, tick and worm prevention depends on your pet's individual needs. Learn about the available approaches, including Bravecto Quantum for eligible dogs.

HOW WE CAN HELP

Practical parasite protection for dogs and cats.

Each pet's needs are different. Your vet will recommend assessment and treatment based on their individual circumstances.

One plan doesn't suit every pet

Flea, tick and worm risks differ. Your vet will consider your pet's species, age, weight, environment, health and previous treatments before recommending a plan.

Bravecto Quantum: once-yearly flea & tick protection for dogs

Bravecto Quantum contains fluralaner and provides 12 months of control against the labelled flea and tick species after one veterinary injection. It is intended for dogs from six months of age.

Important suitability considerations

A veterinarian must authorise and administer the injection. Do not use it in dogs with suspected ingredient allergy; discuss a history of epilepsy, and note it is not recommended for breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs.

What the injection does not cover

Bravecto Quantum is a flea-and-tick product: it is not a replacement for intestinal-worm, heartworm or every other parasite-prevention product. Ask us for a complete prevention plan.

Other prevention options

Depending on your pet, spot-ons, chewable tablets or separate worming treatments may be suitable. Ask reception about current brands, sizes and stock.

Plan the next dose

Tell us what your pet already takes and when it was last given. We can help work out suitable repeat intervals using the product instructions.
