Take a first look before deciding what to do.
Each pet's needs are different. Your vet will recommend assessment and treatment based on their individual circumstances.
What happens at the initial check?
A brief look at visible tartar, gum changes, bad breath or other concerns you've noticed. Please ask reception who will carry out the check and when it is available.
What it does not include
This first look is not a comprehensive anaesthetised dental examination. It does not include dental X-rays, sedation, cleaning, diagnosis of hidden root disease, or treatment.
When further assessment matters
Loose or fractured teeth, bleeding, swelling, pain or eating difficulties may need a standard veterinary consultation or a treatment plan rather than an initial screening.
What happens next?
We can explain the published cat/dog cleaning packages and when dental radiographs, extraction or separate treatment costs may be relevant.
How to arrange a check
Contact reception first to confirm whether the complimentary service is available and which appointment to choose.
Understand your options before deciding
Before consenting, please ask your vet about the procedure, important risks, possible additional tests and expected charges.
